Spirit of the Isle is a small company located on the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales, UK.
We produce cruelty free, skin friendly, Bath & Body goods with most products vegan friendly too. Everything is made to our own, unique recipes and only tested on willing family members since we established in 2012.
Living on this wonderful Welsh island, we are very aware of the issue of plastic littering our sea and coastline - it really concerns us and we want to do all we can to help, so we now use recyclable glass packaging or recyclable PET plastic for all our jared/bottled products and our handmade soaps are wrapped in paper and card. We do our upmost to bring you fully recyclable skin & haircare.
We avoid the use harsh chemicals such as SLS, silicones, parabens and never use plastic micro-beads in our products.
Safe synthetics are sometimes used in our recipes, but only when no suitable natural alternative is available to fulfil that ingredient's function.
We hold valid cosmetic safety assessments on all the products we sell.

Main Products :~
Our Soaps and Shaving Bars are handmade using natural, oils & butters which are transformed into high quality, naturally produced Soap using the 'Cold Process' - this is by far the best kind of soap to use on your skin as it retains all the naturally produced glycerine that helps protect and care for the skin. We only use RSPO certified palm oil in our Soaps to help protect the Rain Forest plants & animals. These are very eco-friendly as no plastic bottle is required for use.
Our Hand & Body Creams contain the finest natural vegan plant oils and butters. We use Shea butter and oils of Almond, Sunflower, Coconut and Vitamin E, then we add natural Essential Oils and/or Fine Fragrance Oils to create a beautifully scented product that is non greasy and sinks in to nourish your skin deeply, leaving it soft and silky. Packaged in eco-friendly, plastic free recyclable glass jars.
Our Whipped Soaps are one of our best sellers, and are the consistency of thick whipped cream. We make them from raw, vegan ingredients to our own unique recipe which has taken years to perfect ( we do not use pre made commercial cosmetic bases for any of our products). This ensures a skin and hair loving product that is free-from SLS. We add very mild Coconut derived foaming agents to ensure a creamy, bubbly lather and organic Shea Butter to add a luxury feel with extra beneficial skin nourishing properties.They come packaged in PET eco-friendly, recyclable jars.
Our Bodywash / Shampoo is made to our own Sulphate Free recipe. They are SLS and silicone free and come packaged in recyclable PET plastic bottles.
Our handmade Hair Conditioners are enriched with Argan oil, Panthenol (pro vitamin B 5 ), Oat infusion, and Vitamin E. They are suitable for most hair types and leave the hair healthy, soft and shiny. They're scented with our bespoke perfume blends.
Our Hair Oils are made with luxury hair conditioning natural oils of Argan, Jojoba, Coconut and Vitamin E, we also add Essential Oils and /or Parfum Oils to scent them. They come packaged in recyclable glass bottles.
We offer a regular line of products with hand blended scents that are available all year round, but we also bring out new Seasonal Scents and products to offer some variation to the line, so keep checking in for new additions or better still subscribe to our newsletter to get these updates straight to your inbox!
